Introduction - Easter 6 - 2016-04-01

Intro to the Readings
Acts 16:9-15 PS 67 Rev 21:10, 22-22:5 John 14:23-29
The reading from Acts is a geography lesson, and the Apostle Paul meets Lydia, “a dealer in purple cloth.”
Psalm 67 is a communal hymn of thanksgiving. The Psalm encourage the people, and the nations, to sing for joy, for the Lord judges with equity and guides all nations.
From the vision we know as Revelation, we hear of a city who’s temple is the “Lord God Almighty and the Lamb.”
In the Gospel listen as the Lord, the Lamb, speaks about the Father’s love and the Word.

Let us listen to the Word.
Let us receive the Spirit of God.
