Job 1:1, 2:1-10 — PS 26 — Heb 1:1-4, 2:5-12 — Mark 10:2-16
Intro to the Readings
To begin with the readings in the bulletin are those for next week.
For the next three weeks we will read from the Book of Job. This book is all about Job, of course, his friends, philosophy, life, its' joys and sorrow – and about God.
Psalm 26 is the lament of an individual who offers themself to be tested before God's holy altar. One who desires to stand to bless the Lord God.
From Hebrews we listen to the opening verses, and hear that “in these last days God has spoken to us by the Son.”
In the Gospel the Lord Jesus is asked about divorce. Listen as our Lord says, “Let the little children come to me.”
Let us listen and be like little children, and come to Jesus.
