Jer 32:1-3a, 6-15 – Psalm 91:1-6, 14-16 – 1 Tim 6:6-19 – Lk 16:19-31
Intro to the Readings

The first reading is all about the prophet Jeremiah buying a field. It is a sign of hope for God’s people.
Psalm 91 is a song of trust, it expresses confidence in the Lord.
The Apostle writes to Timothy about those things we should be content with, and of being faithful and fighting the good fight.
In the Gospel the Lord Jesus tells us a parable about a rich man. Listen and you will hear where the rich man put his hope and trust.

Set your hope in the King of kings and Lord of Lords.
